Mesotherapy What Are It's Uses?

Many people have give consideration to using mesotherapy as a way of getting rid of the orange peel look of cellulite from their hips and thighs and backside.

 

In a world which has never been more concerned about what it looks like that should hardly be a suprize. But people assume quite wrongly that cellulite is a fat problem but actually it is a skin problem.

 

The areas which are effected by cellulite are the thighs, hips and backside and it is found in both men and women although most people assume it's only women that suffer this is actually not true.

 

But maybe men are less conscious of their bodies although this is something which is changing with many men in the 21st century becoming concerned about cellulite.

Whilst to many it is just nothing to worry about to other people it can be a cause of deep concern they will try any thing to get rid of it including creams and pills but these have little long term effect.

 

Luckily there is a recognised treatment that can effectively get rid of cellulite.

 

This treatment is called Mesotherapy which is non completly non invasive and needs no surgery or use of anesthetic.Instead it consists of injections of a combination of vitamins,homeopathics and conventional medicines in to the middle layer of skin or mesoderm (hence the name mesotherapy).

 

This technique has also proven effective against wrinkles,excess fat

and drooping excess skin.

 

Although some patients complain of feeling heavy and uncomforatble in the location sites there is no real recovery period after Mesotherapy.

 

The treatment works with the cell structure to improve the outward appearance of the skin and many patients have reported satisfactory results.

 

Mesotherapy can be used to treat facial wrinkels but it tends to be used on the buttocks, hips,thighs,arms, chin and abdomen.

 

The bad news is it may take as many as 10-15 treatments over a period of weeks to be effective.This is because the results are gradual and mesotherapy is not a quick fix for removing any skin wrinkles or cellulite problems.

 

Mesotherapy is seen as cosmetic surgery so the typical medical insurance policy will not cover this type of treatment.

 

Inspite of the distress it may cause some women especially cellulite is not of any medical significance and is not harmful to your health.

 

The costs of mesotherapy can vary quite widely depending on where you live and the demand for the procedure.

 

You should of course before undergoing any medical procedure make sure of the skills and qualifications of the person administering the treatment and that they are using FDA approved ingredients as each injection will contain a wide range of them.
